Our expert teachers are masters in their respective fields and passionately committed to fostering a love for learning in their students. Our caring staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every student feels supported on their educational path.

With a diverse array of advanced class offerings, we challenge our students to push their boundaries and excel. These include 7th grade Honors Math; Regents Algebra I; Regents Biology; a choice of German, Spanish, or French; and Studio Art. Mexico Middle School’s AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program is designed to encourage students to think critically, collaborate, and set high expectations for themselves. Students who participate in this program are historically more prepared to confidently conquer the challenges of Middle School and beyond.  AVID instruction is given to all 5th and 6th grade learners and is available as elective classes in 7th and 8th grade.  Mexico’s music program is recognized as one of the best in the area, with active participation from over half of our middle school student body.

Beyond the school day, our 7th and 8th grade students have the opportunity to participate in a wide array of Modified Athletics. All students are encouraged to get involved in these offerings! Our After-School Activities Program (ASAP) runs from 2:45-5:15pm daily. In this program, students can get help with their homework and assignments, and participate in arts, crafts, and games.
