Mexico Community Recreation Program

  • The Community Recreation program provides access to the Mexico High School Fitness Center, Indoor Track, and Pool. These programs are free for district residents.

    All individuals wishing to use the facilities must be registered on Family ID, and receive training on the equipment. The Mexico School District will have staff present to provide the training and help with completing the online registration process if necessary. 

    Please note, that only district residents are allowed to utilize our community fitness programs.


    Community Recreation Program & Facility Schedule

    Adult Lap Swim: Monday-Friday, *5-7 AM

    (18 and older, or 14-17 with adult supervision)

    *Adult lap swim may switch to a 6 AM start based on LG availability.

    AquaFit Class: Tuesdays & Thursdays 6-6:45 AM (18 & older)

    Community Swim: Saturdays from 11 AM to 1:30 PM (September-June) 

                             Wednesdays from 6-8 PM (March-August)

    (Open to all ages. Under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)

    Fitness Center & Indoor Track: Monday-Friday, 5-7 AM and 5-8 PM 

                          Saturday 9:00AM-12:00PM (September-June)

    *July & August, morning hours for the fitness center and indoor track are extended to 8 am, Mon-Fr. 

    (18 and older, 14-17 with adult supervision in the fitness center,

    *ages 10-17 on the indoor track with adult supervision)

    Resistance Training Class: Mon/Wed/Fri 6–6:45 AM (18 & older)

    Learn to Swim: June-August (visit the Athletics home page for Learn to Swim page information and registration paperwork-usually posted in late April/early May)


    The Mexico High School Community Recreation Program provides an amazing opportunity for anyone trying to live a healthier and more active lifestyle. The Community Recreation facilities include a complete weight room, filled with weights, machines, and cardio equipment to suit the needs of all who partake in its amenities.

    Our pool is perfect for even the most competitive swimmers, and classes are available for anyone wishing to learn something new. The track is a wonderful addition to the center and holds even more cardio equipment. Overall, the Community Recreation Facilities at Mexico High School is an incredible fitness experience for everyone, young and old, available FREE of charge to residents within the School District.
