The SBHCs provides prompt, convenient, quality, health care to ALL enrolled students. We have locations in Mexico Elementary School and in Mexico Middle School. Our services provided include treatment of illnesses, minor injuries, monitoring and treating chronic illnesses, allergy injections, immunizations, annual physical exams etc. This would include any state-mandated immunizations and physicals with parental permission. Prescriptions for acute or chronic illnesses can be sent electronically to your pharmacy. We also offer behavioral health services to students and their families. The school-based health centers provide dental care and mental health counseling. The health centers can also treat students for acute illnesses such as the flu and chronic conditions such as allergies, asthma and diabetes.

There are no out-of-pocket charges for services provided at the SBHC. Insurance will be billed. If you do not have medical coverage, ConnextCare has Outreach Coordinators who can assist you in obtaining insurance coverage. You DO NOT have to change primary care doctors or transfer records.
