Welcome to Mexico Academy and Central School District!

Since the first recorded town meeting in 1798 in the area, voters have made provision for public schools, and we have a rich history of formal education. We are incredibly proud of our offerings and impressed with the achievements of our scholars in the areas of academics, the fine arts, athletics, and technical education.

We have staff who are enthusiastic about their areas of expertise, keeping the facilities safe and pristine, transporting, and feeding students, and instructing and supporting our students. We intentionally work on keeping communication open with our families and pride ourselves in partnering with the community to educate our young people.

Our mission is to educate and motivate our students to be successful, responsible citizens with a vision of being recognized as a school district that inspires excellence and leadership in all. If you review our core beliefs, you will notice that our schools are the heart of our community.

We are currently involved in a Capital Project, so pardon our dust over the next few years as we enhance the safety and infrastructure in the district!

We will always put our scholars first, while providing a safe, secure environment for all, collaborating with one another to ensure positive outcomes for students.
