Cadets gathered at the Mexico High School gymnasium to honor the proud history and traditions of the Marine Corps, participating in the ceremonial cake cutting and other time-honored observances.

Students worked hard over the course of nearly two months to stage and perform the annual fall play, held Nov. 7-8 in 2025.

Eight students earned this honor based on their solo performances last May, competing among talented peers from Oswego, Herkimer and Oneida counties.

At the October BOE meeting, the district honored Mrs. Sarah Herrington, Teaching Assistant at Palermo Elementary School as the first recipient of Proud to be MACS in 2025-26.
