Palermo Elementary Home
Palermo Elementary School is one of three elementary buildings in the Mexico Academy and Central School District. We are a Pre-K through 4th grade building located at 1638 County Route 45. Our staff of approximately 40 dedicated educators support the learning and growth of over 200 students.
As a Leader in Me School we teach and promote the use of powerful leadership principles from Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People as we strive to meet our building’s mission statement, “Developing Leaders One Child at a Time.”
Palermo Elementary School is a great place to learn and grow! We are proud of the hard work that our students and staff demonstrate and the support we receive from our families and greater Palermo community.

Message from the Principal
Dear Palermo Families,
Palermo Elementary School is a special place where we strive to meet our mission of “Developing Leaders One Child at a Time.”
I’m proud to be working alongside a dedicated team of caring educators that make up our team here at Palermo. We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with our Palermo families as together we nurture our community’s most precious resource, our children.
Keep an eye out for the many special events we have planned throughout the year and the opportunities for our students to showcase their many talents. We hope you can join us and celebrate the great work happening here at Palermo Elementary School.
We look forward to working together for a great school year!
Sincerely,
Bob Briggs
