Award-winning singer/songwriter Jared Campbell recently made his first visit to New Haven Elementary, bringing students and staff together for a lively performance filled with music, humor and positive messages.

Students sang, clapped, laughed and danced in their seats as Campbell used engaging songs and humor to encourage students to stand up against bullying, show respect, be leaders and maintain an amazing outlook on life.

Campbell also visited Mexico Elementary and Palermo Elementary as part of his time with the district.

His musical talents have been acknowledged by Billboard Magazine as one of the top independent musicians in the Northeast and has performed for thousands of students and families at schools and venues across the country.

His visit to New Haven Elementary was made possible through the Arts in Education program with CiTi BOCES.
