Cap Project Update: 12/5/25

Dear MACS Family and Community,
Our contractors are wrapping up Phase 1 of the High School window replacement project. Phase 2, which includes all district buildings, is scheduled for completion during the spring and summer of 2026. Window treatments for the High School have been ordered and will be installed as soon as they arrive. In addition, our masons will soon finish the stone replacement at the front of the High School.
You may notice flashing lights outside some buildings as contractors test the newly installed emergency notification systems. These exterior lights are designed to signal emergency events—such as a lockout or lockdown—indicating that people should not enter the building. We will share more details once these systems are fully operational.
I also encourage you to come out and vote on the 2025 Capital Improvement Project on Wednesday, December 10, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Middle School Gym. If approved, this project will be implemented at no additional cost to taxpayers.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Jolean Bliss, Business Executive, or to me directly.
Thank you for your continued support of MACS!
