Dear Parents and Guardians, 

This summer, the MACS Transportation Department upgraded to a new routing system. As part of this transition, alternate transportation addresses and schedules did not transfer to the new system. If your child only rides to and from their primary home address and does not have an alternate transportation arrangement, no action is needed.

If your child rides the bus to or from an address other than their primary home address- such as a childcare provider, relative’s home, or other approved location- or follows an alternate transportation schedule, you must resubmit this information before the start of school. 

Please either:

• Call the Transportation Office Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm- (315)-963-8400 x4501, or

• Complete the online form: 2026–27 Alternate Transportation Request

Even if you submitted this information in a previous school year, it must be submitted again so we can ensure your child is routed correctly for the first day of school.
