Tiger goalie Fox commits to Felician for NCAA lacrosse

Anna Fox, a senior at Mexico High School, has signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Felician University in Rutherford, New Jersey, where she will play NCAA Division II women’s lacrosse.
A standout goalkeeper, Fox has been a key member of the Mexico varsity program since her sophomore year and has played lacrosse since seventh grade.
Throughout her career, she has totaled nearly 200 saves, including a career-high 15 saves in a standout performance against Cazenovia in 2025. She currently ranks fourth all-time in saves in program history, which she is expected to continue to climb during her upcoming senior season, and has been recognized among the top 10 goalkeepers in Class D for the past two seasons.
“Anna has been a part of the Mexico lacrosse program since her freshman year and is the leader of our defense,” said Mexico varsity girls lacrosse coach Mike Martin. “She has tremendous knowledge of the game as a goalie and makes her teammates better through her play and communication. Her enthusiasm for the game is incredible, and I wish her success at the next level.”
Fox has also competed at the club level, playing for 315 Elite, where she earned the Pink Ribbon Award in fall 2023 for exceptional performance and sportsmanship during tournament play.
“Anna’s consistency and work ethic have set her apart throughout her career,” said MACS Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Andrew Gates. “She brings a strong understanding of the game and competes at a high level, which has helped her develop into one of the top goalkeepers in the area.”
At Felician University, Fox plans to pursue a degree in social and behavioral science while continuing her lacrosse career.
She is the daughter of Renee and Horton Fox.
