MACS to Host 6th Annual Community Connection Event on 3/21

The Mexico Academy & Central School District will host its 6th Annual Community Connection Event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at Mexico High School, bringing together local organizations, families and community members for a day focused on connection and support.
The event will feature representatives from a wide range of community agencies and service providers, including Camp Hollis, the Child Advocacy Center, Farnham Family Services, Liberty Resources, the Food Bank and Oswego County Workforce, among many others. The event offers families an opportunity to learn about resources available throughout Oswego County and connect directly with organizations that support children and families.
Several community partners will also be on hand for interactive demonstrations and activities. Guests can meet members of the Mexico Fire Department, interact with therapy animals from PAWS of CNY, participate in hands-on activities with Oswego County Traffic Safety and learn more about Xtreme Cheer of Oswego County. MACS students will also help support various activities throughout the event.
Families can enjoy a grab-and-go breakfast and free lunch provided by Stefano’s, along with activities such as face painting and robotics. A presentation on identifying and avoiding scams will also be held in the high school auditorium, and a medication drop box will be available near the entrance for safe disposal of unused medications.
