Families explore Palermo Elementary for annual Open House

Palermo Elementary School recently hosted its annual Open House alongside its Back to School Bash, welcoming families and community members into the building to connect with staff and learn more about what’s next in the school year.
Students guided their families through Palermo classrooms and hallways, sharing projects and highlighting their daily routines. Principal Robert Briggs, teachers and staff were on hand to discuss curriculum, answer questions and provide resources to help families stay engaged throughout the year.
The event also gave parents an opportunity to meet teachers and learn more about school programs and activities offered as part of the Mexico Academy & Central School District.
Outside, there were games, goodies and an ice cream truck for a fun Friday evening of play and bonding at the Back to School Bask.
Open house remains an important tradition at Palermo Elementary, bringing families and educators together to strengthen partnerships that supports and encourages student success throughout the coming school year.
