MACS hosting 3-year-old play-based learning events

Mexico Academy & Central School District is partnering with Oswego County Community Schools to offer Look at Me, I’m Three - a program designed for children who will be eligible for UPK in the 2026–27 school year.
We will host three events, one at each elementary building. Families are welcome to attend any session, regardless of which school their child will ultimately attend. Each event will run for approximately one hour and will feature a thematic, hands-on lesson aligned with the Imagination Library book of the month. Children will engage in an interactive activity alongside a caregiver. All three event times are listed below.
While children complete an art project with assistance from SUNY Oswego students, caregivers will participate in programming led by community partners, who will share helpful information and resources to support early childhood development.
These events are a wonderful opportunity to connect with families before UPK registration begins. We would love for you to be part of these special sessions! Please let me know if you’re interested in assisting with any of the events or supporting in another capacity. Lesson plans and materials will be provided by Community Schools.
