COVID test kit distribution for students 2/17
More COVID-19 at-home tests will be distributed Thursday, Feb. 17 to Mexico Academy & Central School District families.
Parents can drive through the Mexico Middle School’s lower loop (near the gym and district office) between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17 to receive a kit with two tests for each student.
Those who are unable to pick up the tests Thursday may stop by their child’s school any other day. Calling ahead is recommended for speedier service.
As recommended by Gov. Kathy Hochul, families (especially those traveling) may want to utilize the at-home tests prior to travel and then just before returning to school to help stem community spread related to winter break.
At-home positive test results should be reported to the county via the following link: https://treasurerforms.oswegocounty.com/Forms/Report-Positive-COVID-Self-Tests
Please also note that each building has KN-95 masks available for students and staff should they need them.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to your child’s principal or the district office at any time.
