COVID vaccine clinic for 5+ at MHS 11/12

A COVID 19 clinic will be held on Nov. 12, 2021 at the Mexico High School Cafeteria from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There are two registration links for this event: one for staff to register for a Moderna Booster and one for new community members to register for a first dose Pfizer clinic.

The following vaccinations are available and you can register using the link below each description.

ConnextCare is holding a booster clinic for New Yorker's who are eligible per the FDA guidelines.  In order to receive the booster dose, you will need to have completed your initial COVID-19 vaccine series at least six months ago and also meet the following criteria:

  • 65 years of age and older
  • 18 through 64 years of age at high risk of severe COVID-19
  • 18 through 64 years of age with frequent institutional or occupational exposure to COVID-19

The flu vaccine will also be offered at the time of your booster dose.

On Sept. 8, Governor Kathy Hochul announced the launch of New York State’s #VaxtoSchool campaign to support increasing COVID-19 vaccination rates among school-aged New Yorkers.

ConnextCare has partnered with the New York State Department of Health to support this campaign, offering school-aged New Yorkers and their families an opportunity to be vaccinated together!

Pediatric Pfizer first dose age 5-11

The CDC has recommended the Pfizer vaccine for 5-11 year olds with parents and guardians encouraged to work with their local pediatricians and family physicians to get their children scheduled.
