Learn to Swim program returning for 4+ this summer
Mexico Academy and Central School District is offering swim lessons for children four years and older (including adults) starting July 6 through Aug. 13, 2021.
Due to COVID-19, the program will have a participant limit at each level and no spectators are allowed at this time. The registration form can be found at the bottom of this article.
The fees are as follows: $35 for one child per session, $50 for two children in the same family per session and $70 for three or more children in the same family per sesssion.
Due to state protocols and regulations, there will be no aquatics class for newborns or those under four years old.
CLASS SESSION DATES:
#1: July 6 to July 16, Monday through Friday
#2: July 19 to July 30, Monday through Friday
#3: Aug. 2 to Aug. 13, Monday through Friday
SESSION TIME OPTIONS:
1. 9 - 9:25 a.m.
2. 9:35 - 10 a.m.
3. 10:10 - 10:35 a.m.
4. 10:45 - 11:15 a.m.
5. 11:25 - 11:50 a.m.
6. 1:45 - 2:10 p.m.
7. 2:55 - 3:20 p.m.
8. 3:30 - 3:55 p.m.
Classes will be offered in the following skil levels:
-Introduction to Water Skills (Non-Swimmer Beginner/Level 1) ** MUST BE 4 YEARS OLD for Level 1
-Fundamental Aquatics (Beginner Swimmer -Level 2)
-Stroke Development (Building Skills- Level 3)
-Stroke Improvement (Strengthening Skills- Level 4)
-Stroke Refinement (Coordination of Strokes- Level 5)
-Fundamentals of swimming (Level 6)
