Donation helps keeps students warm in winter

A donation from the Mechanical Unit of Exelon will help keep Mexico High School students warm during the winter season.

A group effort saw the unit donate $625 to the school.

James Larrabee, a 1993 Mexico alumni, recently stopped by to present the funds on behalf of the group to School Counselor Patricia Meaker and School Social Worker Melissa Terzulli.

“Many thanks to the Mechanical Unit at Excelon, we are greatly appreciative,” said Meaker.

The funds were used to purchase warm hats, gloves, sweatshirts, vests and more for the students.
