What if my child has a CSE or CPSE meeting scheduled on a day when there is a one-hour or a two-hour

A: During the winter months, Mexico School District will occasionally have a one-hour or two-hour delay due to inclement weather conditions. Should this delay occur on a day when CSE or CPSE meetings are scheduled, the following schedule will be observed:

High School and Middle School:
· In the event of a one-hour delay, meetings scheduled to take place before 9:00 AM will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date. All meetings scheduled to take place at 9:00 AM or later will take place as scheduled.

· For a two-hour delay, meetings scheduled to take place before 10:00 AM will be cancelled and meetings scheduled at 10:00 AM or later will take place as scheduled.

Mexico Elementary, Palermo Elementary and New Haven Elementary and CPSE:
· In the event of a one-hour delay, meetings scheduled to take place before 9:30 AM will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date. All meetings scheduled to take place at 9:30 AM or later will take place as scheduled.

· For a two-hour delay, meetings scheduled to take place before 10:30 AM will be cancelled and meetings scheduled at 10:30 AM or later will take place as scheduled

In the event that school is closed:
All CSE or CPSE meetings scheduled for that day will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.

Should your child’s meeting be cancelled, you will be notified in writing of the new meeting date and time.
