I began my career as a special education teacher in the Cortland City School District in September of 2006. I taught special education for students in grades 4-6. I worked in Cortland for a year and a half. Being from Mexico, I jumped at the chance to work in my home school district. I began teaching special education at Palermo and Mexico Elementary Schools in February of 2008. I did this for a year and a half as well. When a kindergarten classroom position opened at Palermo, I became a kindergarten teacher in September of 2009 and have been teaching kindergarten ever since...now at Mexico Elementary School!
