Ms. Nicole Tritten

  • Welcome to Palermo Elementary 2nd grade! My name is Ms. Nicole Tritten. This is my seventh year teaching and my second year as a 2nd grade teacher at Palermo. This is my fourth year teaching at Mexico Academy and Central School District. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Childhood Education (grades 1-6) at SUNY Oswego. Then, I received my Master's degree in Inclusive Special Education (grades 1-6) at Syracuse University.

My background in special education has instilled in me that ALL children are able to learn when given the necessary tools and support. Teaching is not an exact science, it is an art that must be tailored to each individual child and his/her learning needs.

My hobbies include traveling, cooking, visiting waterfalls, hiking, walking my dog, and watching movies. I love nature and spending time outdoors every chance I get!

I look forward to a terrific year with you and your child! Second grade is a magical time when many pieces to the puzzle come together! It is truly an amazing experience to be a part of.
