Welcome to 5th & 6th grade band at Mexico Middle School! My name is Corinne Upcraft and I am so excited to be teaching here in Mexico. I grew up in Albion, NY, which is a small town west of Rochester and very similar in size to Mexico. After high school I attended Syracuse University where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. While at Syracuse I participated in the wind ensemble, the marching band, and the pep band, as well as several service organizations. Before coming to Mexico, I taught for 14 years in Marathon, NY as the junior and senior high band director. While in Marathon I also directed the jazz ensemble and marching band, and directed the high school musical.  I currently live in Syracuse with my husband Kevin and our two sons, Jacob and Matthew. When I'm not chasing my two boys around I enjoy reading, baking, and running.
