I have been very fortunate to work in the Mexico Central School district for the past 30 years. During my first four years in MACS, I taught Resource (Special Education) at New Haven Elementary School. There I enjoyed working with students in all grade levels, Kindergarten through 4th grade. In 1990, I decided to shift to the Middle School, where I have worked primarily with 5th and 6th grade students. During these years, I have taught Resource, ELA and Mathematics, in and out of the general education setting. For the past several years, I have enjoyed the role of "Co-Teacher" in 6th grade Mathematics. I enjoy being an integral part of the 6th grade Math curriculum and instruction, while also having the time in my schedule to work with smaller groups of students who need additional re-teaching and reinforcement.
