I grew up at the Mexico Academy & CSD and attended New Haven Elementary School. In high school, I participated in many music and athletic activities, including marching band, football, swimming and the golf team. Following my HS graduation from Mexico in 1999, I attended Syracuse University and studied at the Setnor School of Music. At Syracuse, I performed in many campus ensembles, including the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Band, the Pride of the Orange Marching Band and the Sour Sitrus Society Pep Band. In 2004, I started my teaching career in the Mount Markham CSD, teaching 7/8 band. At Mount Markham, I directed the 7/8 Band, MS Jazz Ensemble & the MS Marching Band. In 2007, I started teaching in the Mexico CSD as the 7/8 Band Director at the Mexico Middle School. I currently direct the 7/8 Symphonic Band, the MS Jazz Band, the MS marching band and the pit orchestra for the HS musical.
I live in Mexico with my wife Corinne and our two children, Jacob and Matthew!
