  • Welcome to my webpage! I have had the pleasure of teaching at Mexico High School since 2008. In that time, I primarily teach Living Environment, AP Biology, Project Lead the Way's Principles of Biomedical Science. It is my goal to help students become accountable, scientifically literate citizens while helping them to learn skills that will facilitate success in other classes, a career, or college. I have been trained in Project Based Learning, Blended Learning, Authentic Assessments, and Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) Science Strategies. In my role as the Science Department Coordinator, I have worked to incorporate Next Generation Science Standards Science Practices and facilitate the transition for the Science Department to the New York State Science Learning Standards. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as an Administrative Assistant for a law office, a Kitchen Manager for a convenient store, and a Medical Technologist for an OB/GYN physician's office laboratory.
