Welcome to Mexico Middle School 6th grade! My name is Mrs. Kenda Sargent. I have been teaching at the Middle School since 2012. I completed my teacher certification program and Master's program in Literacy Education at SUNY Oswego. My hobbies include camping, reading, and playing the piano.

I look forward to an exciting year teaching your children. My classroom will be in its second year of Blended Learning, using iPads in various ways to incorporate technology into my curriculum.  This summer I attended another session of Blended Learning Academy to learn even more ways to create new opportunities for technology use for the new school year.  We will be using Schoology as a place to access homework, class notes/assignments, and math practice activities.  If you are interested in having access to my classroom Schoology page, refer to the link below to sign up for a parent access account.  Please contact me for the access code in order to be added to our classroom account.  I look forward to another rewarding year here at Mexico Middle School.
