  • I have had the pleasure of teaching since 1990. Prior to teaching, I worked as a Video Programming Assistant for the Center For Instructional Development at Syracuse University. I would use the computer to "draw" graphics for the professors and then our team would video tape the professors teaching and broadcast the feed to Long-distance learning sites. It was a fun job. We also got to video tape segments in the Syracuse City School District, which helped me to catch the "teaching bug". I taught for one year in Syracuse and have taught since 1991 in the Mexico Central School District.

In 2021, I transitioned from the role of 4th Grade classroom teacher to the role of a Math and Reading Specialist. I enjoy teaching students by extending, modifying and redefining their learning.  I believe student and parent engagement is essential for a child's success.

As a Leader in Me School, students have many leadership opportunities to take responsibility for their own learning; I look forward to working with your child, helping her/him to show maximum growth in all areas.

Thank you for the opportunity to work with your child!
