Welcome to Palermo Elementary 1st grade. I started teaching in the Mexico District in 1987 at Palermo Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher. I taught 3rd grade for 5 years. I then moved to 1st grade where I spent another 5 years. In 1998 I began teaching in a  K-1 Multi-age classroom with Rita Jardin. We taught K-1 for 5 years and them moved to a 1-2 Multi-age for another few years. When the district adopted reading 1st we both moved into a regular 1st grade classroom where we continued to team teach.
