Liz McIntosh has been teaching chemistry at Mexico High School for the past 12 years. She earned an AAS in Medical Laboratory Technology from Onondaga Community College and worked as a lab tech at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital and MDS Laboratory in Phlebotomy, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology and Microbiology. She earned a BS in Biology Education and MSEd in Curriculum Development from SUNY Oswego and has taught in several different educational settings in New York State and Delaware. Some of her experiences include working with chemically dependent adolescents, designing a school program for at-risk youth, teaching biology, physical science, environmental science, integrated science and her favorite science - chemistry.
Outside of school, Ms. McIntosh enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, exercising and theater.
