  • About Coach Hansen:

    Mr. Hansen graduated from Mexico Academy and Central Schools in 1998. Inspired to emulate his MACS teachers and coaches, began his journey to pursue a career in teaching and coaching.
    Mr. Hansen graduated from State University College at Brockport with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education in 2002. In 2005, he received a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the State University College at Oswego. Mr. Hansen returned to his Alta Mater in 2002, has taught and coached at Mexico since.
    Coach Hansen has been coaching interscholastic athletics for the past 15 years in several sports including Football, Golf, Wrestling, and Baseball. Coaching and teaching has been a very rewarding experience over the years.
    Outside of school, Mr. Hansen enjoys his family and juggling a very busy schedule volunteering his time coaching his two boys year round in several youth sports. In addition, he enjoys leisure activities such as hunting, ice fishing, visiting his Adirondack camp, cruising in his 1955 F100 classic, and appearing in the occasional Tough Mudder Challenge. Recently, conquered the toughest rated challenge course on the circuit in the country on Mount Snow, located in Vermont.
