Hello and welcome to Eleventh grade English! My name is Joseph Deckman. I have been teaching at Mexico Academy high school since 2010. I currently instruct in English 11 and AVID; but in the past I have taught SAT Prep, College Prep and tenth grade English. I also teach ninth and eleventh grade English during Summer for Citi at the APW campus.

Being a part of the Mexico community is a very important element of staying connected to my current and present students. Beyond the classroom, I run the high school chapter of National Honor Society and I coach Boys Varsity Track and Field.
